Arrived in Sydney
I arrived in Sydney 5 hours ago (about 7pm local time). Door to door, from our flat in Dublin to the hotel, it has taken about 30 hours.

Just wanted to make a quick blog post from Singapore airport where I'm waiting for an hour and a half before continuing on to Sydney.
The first flight was 14 hours - it's 8:20am here. I spent about 2 of those hours sleeping, and the other 12 feeling very squashed in my seat and watching things on the in-flight entertainment system (when it worked). Charlie Wilson's War was quite good, as was The Mist (give it time - it gets less b-movie).
I'm currently sat waiting for my flight from Dublin to London Heathrow, and from there I'll fly on to Sydney for Pervasive 2008.
We make a 'technical' stop along the way in Singapore for an hour and a half, so I'll try and make another blog post from there (if only for the cool Google Maps marker).
My paper "DocTrack: Automatic Printed Digital Document Tagging and Remote Retrieval" has been accepted as a Late Breaking Result for Pervasive 2008.
I will be attending the conference in Sydney in May, showing a poster based on the work and giving a 1 minute madness presentation.
